Traventuria Ltd. provides cost-effective transfers by various vehicles (cars, vans, buses) to/from the airports of Sofia and Plovdiv to the ski resort of Bansko and the neighbouring settlements (Dobrinishte, Razlog, Banya etc.).

> FIXED SHUTTLE TRANSFERS (BEST-SELLER): the most affordable and budget-friendly way to travel from Sofia Airport to Bansko! For the new 2025/2026 winter season Traventuria will operate again regular Everyday Shuttles (Shuttle Transfers) between Sofia Airport and Bansko Area on a fixed departure schedule. Drop-off location in Bansko is either our “Ski & Board Traventuria” shop by the Gondola lift station (Traventuria Office), Bansko Bus station, or your accommodation in the resort (additional charges for a hotel drop-off may apply). Everyday Shuttles are very similar to regular bus lines, but unlike them, with Traventuria’s everyday Shuttle Transfers, customers may add drop-off at hotels, may add child seats, may have bus tracking and many additional benefits. Clients who have booked Shuttle transfers will get picked up at the location they have received at the time of booking (just outside the Airport). Check details below in case of flight/train delays.

> SEMI-PRIVATE TRANSFERS: you will share the vehicle with other passengers from the same (or earlier) flight. You will be met at the Arrivals Hall of the airport by our driver, who will be holding a sign with your name (or phone number). As soon as the last one from the group is collected you will start the journey to Bansko (or Sofia Airport). Keep in mind that these times may be delayed (usually no more than an hour and a half/1h30min) due to the other passengers from the Semi-Private service being late (as a result of their flight or luggage delays). Check details below in case of flight/train delays. For transfers back to the airport, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes after the scheduled pick up time.
> PRIVATE TRANSFERS: you will travel without other/unknown passengers. You will be met at the Arrivals Hall of the airport by our driver, who will be holding a sign with your name (or phone number). As soon as you are collected you will start the journey to Bansko (or Sofia Airport). Private transfer service departs right after the last person (with his/her luggage) from your reservation is present and does not wait for other transfers or passengers. Check details below in case of flight/train delays. For transfers back to the airport, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes after the scheduled pick up time.
> What happens if my flight is delayed?
We will make an effort to keep track of any airline delays that might affect arrival transfers, but it is ultimately your obligation to verify that the flight information you provided to us at the time of booking is accurate. While every attempt is made to keep an eye on these circumstances, we do ask that you let us know as soon as a new projected arrival time becomes available.
PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE SERVICES:
>> If your flight/train is delayed by less than one hour then our normal transfer terms for waiting times will apply.
>> If your flight/train delayed by more than one hour we will put you on to the next available transfer (subject to availability). This will mean a longer waiting time, a downgrade in transfer type (travel with other people), or in some cases a charge for waiting time. If you decide not to wait for another transfer option to become available and want to make your own alternative travel arrangements, you will not be eligible for a refund.
SHUTTLE SERVICES:
>> These operate on fixed departure schedule and you will not be eligible for a refund or a free of charge rescheduling if you fail to board the bus on the designated time as per your transfer ticket. Make sure to leave enough time between your scheduled landing time and the shuttle starting time.
Many businesses operate transfers illegally and without the necessary insurances and licenses. This poses a big risk to clients holiday, health and life. Before booking a transfer make sure the travel company has all necessary documents to perform them, incl. a license for transportation services (should be present on their website)! All vehicles are designed for reliable driving, ensuring high level of safety and comfort. 24/7 flexible transportation services are our specialty. Most of our drivers are English-speaking, friendly, punctual and experienced. With partners in all major towns along the way, we are able to react swiftly and adequately at all force majeure situations.
